The latest generation aluminium Folding Door FD85® is designed to complement modern home extensions with a sleek and contemporary door, manufactured in the UK and designed with the latest technology and other unique features and benefits.
The FD85® has a host of other features and benefits but from conception its main design brief was focused on three areas: super slim sight lines, security and U-Values. It’s the perfect door to replace your old sliding doors or French doors with greatly reduced sight lines, enhanced security, thermal efficiency and some exclusive added features.
Aiming to break the barriers of what can be achieved with a Bifold door, the FD85 ® can span up to 3m tall and 1.35m wide in each panel, meaning a 4 metre opening can be fitted with just three panels. For those wanting matching single or French doors to match their bifolds, it is possible with the FD85 ®. Less Aluminium. More Glass.
Currently in the England, Wales and Northern Ireland all replacement doors must have a U-Value 1.8 (W/mK) or less (in Scotland its 1.6 (W/mK). So, a key element of the design brief for FD85 ® was that we achieve a low U-Value. This has resulted in a typical FD85® door having a U-Value of 1.3 (W/mK), this can be improved if you choose triple glazing resulting in a value of 1.1 (W/mK).
Available in a choice of any RAL colours using high quality powder-coated colour finishes, featuring slim sightlines and double or triple-glazed glazing options plus dedicated hardware, the FD85® has stacks of end user appeal built-in.
- Ultra Slim 105mm sight lines

INSIST ON THE BEST THERMAL PERFORMANCE
We are all very aware of the impact of not choosing the most thermally efficient products when we embark on a project. These remarkable values are achieved using state of art weather seals incorporating a thermal barrier, a large thermal break and the best glazing options.
